    As a leading provider of financial information, news and analytical tools, Stockgroup helps investors create and manage wealth. Stockhouse is Stockgroup’s financial portal that serves as its primary product, offering investors market data, breaking news, insightful user-generated content and portfolio management tools. BRANDFX was hired to re-brand Stockgroup, Stockhouse and its family of on-line investor products.

    Approach

    The Stockhouse brand is defined by a template-shattering attitude. It enhances investor opportunity with up-to-the-minute information and insights posted by impassioned market players. Out of this attribute came the new positioning line, “Taking it to the street,” and the new Stockhouse logo, which uses the icon of a thought bubble, shaped as a head to represent the collaborative on-line aspect. A new logo for Stockgroup was designed, as well as a series of sub-branded product logos. We developed graphic standards and incorporated the brand look and feel into a new website and interactive site demo.
